I’ve only gotten partway through laying out v 0.5 of the model, and it’s just not working for me. It was a good first try. But it feels like it shoves into a corner some of the more interesting ideas I’ve been playing with. And it just doesn’t… feel right.
My hands aren’t in great shape right now — they keep getting a little better, and then I push them a little too hard. So, I’m going to skip posting the next 2 weeks.
After that, I’ll spend the next couple of weeks trying to get a better handle on where I want my model to go by reading and reacting to some very smart liberals and progressives — Dean Baker, Jamie Galbraith, and Robert Kuttner to start with.
